Molecular formula

C10 H16

Molar mass

136.24 g

Physical state

liquid

Solubility

Occurrence

Both isomers are found in pine needles, hemp, dill, fennel, coriander, oregano, and caraway. Alpha-pinene is the main component of turpentine oil (approx. 60%).
